The Mikomax Hushspot is a bench for flexible workspaces with everything already built in. Power, lighting, storage and a divider between the work surfaces: no extension leads, no cables across the floor, no desk lamp someone has to bring along.
That is exactly the problem a hot desk usually has. Whoever comes in in the morning and sits down wants to plug in and get started. In the Hushspot the power module is built in, with four sockets on the small table and eight on the large one. Optionally, USB connections or RJ45 network ports are added.
The optional LED fitting gives 800 lumens at 2700 K with a colour rendering of 90 CRI. It rotates 360 degrees, tilts 45 degrees and dims at a touch between 100 and 10 per cent. That way every user sets their own light without touching the ceiling lighting.
The top module divides the adjoining work surfaces, which provides privacy without a full screen. That same module holds an accessory organiser, storage and space for plants.
The base is made from 3 mm sheet metal with steel profiles and powder coating, with levelling feet for 1 to 10 mm of height difference. The top is 25 mm three-layer chipboard, melamine faced on both sides, with a seamless 2 mm ABS edge.
There are two sizes: a four-person version of 1679 by 1600 mm and an eight-person version of 3279 by 1600 mm.
The Hushspot is made in Europe, TUV Rheinland GS certified and comes with a five-year warranty.
