The Vitra ID Mesh is an office chair from the ID Chair Concept, designed by Antonio Citterio. This is a second-hand model in good condition, with the signs of use you would expect from a chair that has been used before.
The diamond-pattern mesh in the backrest is what defines this chair. It moves with your back as you lean back while letting air through, so you do not end the day with a warm back. The shell around it keeps the tension constant, so the support does not slacken after years of use.
At the back of the backrest sits a height-adjustable lumbar support. You slide it to the spot where your lower back needs it, which differs from person to person.
The armrests adjust in height. The seat is finished in black faux leather, which is easy to clean and does not stain.
